Job summary

The Jim Pattison Volvo Cars North Vancouver, part of The Jim Pattison Auto Group, is seeking a personable Service Advisor to welcome customers and coordinate service needs. You will document concerns, prepare quotes, and liaise with parts and technicians to ensure a smooth service experience.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer-service skills, knowledge of CDK One-Eighty is a plus, and a BC driver’s license. Benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Valid BC driver’s license and driver’s abstract.
• Experience as a Service Advisor in automotive industry preferred.
• CDK One-Eighty software experience is an asset.
• Customer-facing experience is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.
• Able to work near a noisy shop and outdoors for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand service needs.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Document vehicle concerns on Repair Orders and quote repairs.
• Liaise between customers, parts, and technicians.
• Keep customers informed about status and estimates.
• Maintain a tidy, presentable workspace.
