Job summary

Woodstock Hyundai, part of The Humberview Group, is seeking a Service Advisor in Woodstock. You will greet customers, assess service needs, and propose scheduled maintenance and repairs. Build lasting relationships while guiding customers through recommended services and timelines.

Responsibilities include managing estimates, scheduling, and communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction. Experience with Hyundai and CDK is beneficial; a valid driver's license is required for this fast-paced

Woodstock Hyundai is looking for a Service Advisor to add to their team in Woodstock. Woodstock Hyundai is proud to be a member of The Humberview Group, representing 20 dealerships and 18 automotive brands.

OurService Advisors are one of the first points of contact with customers who bring their vehicles in for service.They are responsible for advising customers on the necessary services required to their vehicle, as well as on routine maintenance.

The ServiceAdvisor will also advise customers on other available services, book appointments, and build lasting relationships.

Compensation:Base salary + performance bonuses, ranging from$40,000 to $60,000 a year - potential to earn more based on performance.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers upon arrival and conduct detailed vehicle walk-arounds to assess service needs and document concerns.
• Provide professional recommendations on required repairs, maintenance, and preventative services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
• Manage repair estimate timelines, shop loading, and service scheduling to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments while ensuring effective workflow within the Service Department.
• Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and service-related questions with professionalism and care.
• Monitor the progress of repair orders throughout the day and provide timely updates to customers.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• A great attitude!
• Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred.
• Experience with the Hyundai brand is considered an asset.
• Understanding of CDK would be considered an asset.
• Thrives in a fast paced environment, works well under pressure.
• A valid G driver’s license and clean drivers’ abstract.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Friendly and a trustworthy individual.
