Job description

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Service Advisor.

The Service Advisor is the first point of contact with customers who are in for service. You will be responsible for meeting the customer discussing the issues with their truck and discussing repairs that need to be done.

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and a rotational Saturday. Some evenings may be required.

  • We will offer a $800 signing bonus to the eligible candidate

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers when they arrive for service and discuss the repairs needed.
  • Answer phone calls and emails from customers to book an appointment for service.
  • Write up a repair order and documented customers concerns to ensure accurate information is provided to the mechanic.
  • Keep the customer informed while the truck is being repaired.
  • Check and advise the customers if repairs are approved under warranty.
  • Submit warranty claims into the system and ensure payment.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Completed high school or GED. Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Technical knowledge of trucks is required.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract.
  • Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook Excel and be able to learn a new computer program.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills customer service skills and troubleshooting skills
  • A good team player has a sense of urgency and has the ability to multi-task
  • Good work ethic
