Job summary

Nordik Spa-Nature in Chelsea, QC, is seeking a friendly Server to welcome guests, take orders and serve with courtesy. The role supports a high-performance team across five dining options and emphasizes locally sourced food and beverage service in a serene spa setting.

Part-time shifts are available, including Saturday afternoons/evenings and Sunday daytime/evenings. Experience in food service, ability to work on your feet, and strong customer service skills are valued at Nordik Spa-Nature.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in the food service industry.
• Diploma in the restaurant, hotel or service industry; an asset.
• Knowledge of the characteristics of different wines; an asset.
• Proficiency in restaurant software; an asset.
• Ability to work long hours on your feet.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to listen to customer needs.
• Good team spirit and positive attitude.
• Multidisciplinarity is essential.
• Good stress management (busy work environment).
• Sense of initiative.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present the menu, make suggestions and answer questions.
• Advise guests while making additional sales.
• Prepare and serve beverages, liquor and wine.
• Collect payment and record sales.
• Maintain and control inventory.
• Perform service according to the rules of the trade and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Get to know the tastes and habits of regular guests in order to ensure quality personalized service.
• Ensure that everything is in place for the next shift.
• Perform closing duties (tidying up, cleaning, garbage, closing refrigerators and pantries, etc.).
• Carry out any other related task requested by his/her immediate superior or required by his/her duties.

Under the responsibility of the Restaurant Manager, the Server's main objective is to welcome guests, take their order and serve them with courtesy. In addition, he/she must efficiently organize his/her service area and ensure the cleanliness of the premises at all times.
