Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is opening History, a new Toronto venue with a capacity of up to 2,500 and hosting 200+ shows and events annually. You will provide an exclusive premium service experience to VIP guests, delivering top-tier hospitality during concerts and events.

Role requires Smart Serve certification and strong knowledge of beverages; you will upsell in real time using POS and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Must be Smart Serve certified and at least 19 years of age.
• Minimum of 3 years experience serving in a premium, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and champagnes.
• Experience using point of sale systems; Appetize an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate complete understanding of food and beverage offerings and make recommendations.

If you are ready be apart of Toronto’s most memorable and historic shows then you better keep on reading!**Responsibilities:*** Provide an exclusive premium service experience to members of our VIP areas; serving food and beverages during events delivering an exemplary guest experience* Demonstrate complete understanding of food and beverage offerings and make appropriate recommendations* Utilize Point of Sales systems to adequately process orders and to upsell in real time.* Communicate with service staff, kitchen staff, and bartenders to coordinate entire station and ensure guest satisfaction with the food and service* Create an atmosphere where coworkers are connected and committed through seamless communication and the willingness to help others win**Qualifications**:* Must be Smart Serve Certified and at least 19 years of age or older* Minimum of 3 years experience serving in a premium, fast-paced environment. Those with previous bottle service & casual fine dining experience an asset* Knowledge of various spirits, beers, wines and champagnes* Experience using point of sales systems; Appetize an asset, but not required* Experience delivering drinks and maneuvering trays through large crowds* You understand the art of upselling and enjoy meeting daily sales incentives* Experience requesting ID’s for anyone whom looks under the legal drinking age and recognizing validity* Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time* Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, and responsible alcohol service* Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience* Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries* You’ve found the balance of being respectful and professional whilst being fun and jovial in a work environment* A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!* Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required* COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions*We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.*
