Job summary

Totem Resorts in Sioux Narrows, Ontario, is seeking a seasonal Server to join our dining team. Provide friendly table service in the dining room, patio, or banquet areas; take orders; ensure guest satisfaction; handle payments; support a welcoming resort atmosphere.

Relocation to northwestern Ontario is required; housing is provided at $175 bi-weekly with 3 meals per day. Training available; shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays; previous hospitality experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Seasonal work from March to November annually.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset, but training may be provided.
• Strong English communication skills and a polite, guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive table service to guests in the dining room, patio, or banquet areas.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the point-of-sale system.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address concerns professionally and promptly.
• Process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and complete end-of-shift closing duties.
• Attend shore lunches as needed.
• Set up, reset, and keep tables and service areas clean, organized, and ready for the next guests.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards at all times.
• Support a welcoming resort atmosphere while helping guests enjoy their stay in Northwestern Ontario.
• Other duties as required to help out other team members when needed.

Terms of Employment: Seasonal full-time employment with shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Relocation to northwestern Ontario required; housing available at $175 bi-weekly with 3 meals per day.

Wage: $18/ hour

• Willingness to relocate to northwestern Ontario and live in employer-provided housing if required.
• Excellent hygiene is required.
