We’re hiring a Server to work in our bright and welcoming dining room. Join us and be part of a team that supports dining setup, service, and cleanup within our retirement residence. We believe mealtime is more than food; it’s about friends, family, and memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests professionally and courteously;
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required;
• Assist with cleaning dishware and cutlery after service;
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas;
• Assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events;
• Assist in training new culinary employees;
• Follow health and safety legislation and departmental procedures;
• Respect and promote Resident Rights & Responsibilities;
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings;
• Participate in the Quality Improvement Program;
• Uphold the organization’s values, ethics, morality, and integrity;
• Perform all other assigned tasks.

Required Education, Credentials, and Experience

• Experience in food service industry and working with seniors preferred;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Ability to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for most of the shift;
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset;
• Current (within 6 months) VPS or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
