The Nest Eatery at NAIT, located on campus, is seeking friendly servers to join our fast-paced team. You will deliver welcoming service, handle guest inquiries, and support a positive dining experience with training provided. This role offers on-campus employment with a supportive team.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience; availability on Thursdays 10:00 AM–8:00 PM is required, with willingness to share availability for the rest of the week.

Formación

• ProServe certification is required.
• Strong English communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada without employer-sponsored work authorization.

Description

The Nest Eatery is looking for Servers to join our fun, fast-paced team! Located right on campus, the Nest is a great place to build your customer service experience while working alongside a supportive team. We’re also proud to be recognized as Edmonton’s #1 Campus Best Bar None.

Our Servers are an important part of the Nest’s front-of-house team, creating a welcoming and positive experience for our guests. We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who communicate well, pay attention to the details, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you understand what it takes to meet and exceed customer expectations, and you find joy in continuing to learn and build your skills —with training and support provided to help you succeed.

Availability

This role requires availability for scheduled shifts on Thursdays within the hours of 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Applicants must also provide their availability for the remainder of the week as part of their application.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.00 per hour, and is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid ProServe certification

• Strong English communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members

• Legally entitled to work in Canada without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization

Assets:

• Previous serving or food and beverage experience

• Previous customer service experience

• Additional training such as ProTect, Standard First Aid, Food Safety, and/or WHMIS
