Job Purpose

Responsible for leading medical and scientific staff within the SERM (Safety Evaluation & Risk Management) and defining and driving the strategy for clinical safety and pharmacovigilance activities in line with Global Safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement policies, processes, and support operational and strategic plans.
  2. Ensure scientifically sound review and interpretation of safety data, manage safety issues, escalate concerns to senior management, and recommend safety risk communication strategies.
  3. Support pharmacovigilance and benefit-risk management to ensure patient safety globally.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Health Sciences/Health Care Professional degree (e.g., BSc, MS, PhD, RN/BSN/MSN, NP, RPh/B Pharm/Pharm D, Dentists, Veterinarians).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry in drug safety or pharmacovigilance.
  • Knowledge of international pharmacovigilance requirements (e.g., ICH, GVP) and drug development processes.
Preferred Attributes
  • Advanced Degree.
  • Experience in large matrix organizations.
  • Experience in Oncology.
