Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an SEO Specialist to own search outcomes for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will shape the technical roadmap, define content priorities, and guide a strategy that blends Google AI Overviews with traditional organic results.

You will work closely with writers and AI-assisted drafting to deliver impact. You will collaborate with clients across North America and other regions, driving site architecture, on-page optimization, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes experience.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content prioritization with writers/AI.
• Improve client visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage local search and multi-location SEO as needed for clients.
• Provide GA4 and Search Console reporting and quarterly roadmaps.

As SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist you own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
