Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Roofing to own search for roofing clients across markets. You will steer the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story, acting as the strategic voice in client conversations.

You bring 3+ years of hands-on SEO, fluency with Search Console/GA4/Screaming Frog/Ahrefs or Semrush, and experience in agency settings. Remote work is available for US/Canada/LatAm/South Africa clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes performed personally.
• Fluency in English for US clients, on live calls.
• Experience handling multi-location or roofing/multi-market clients is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI drafts.
• Improve visibility in traditional and AI-assisted search results; manage local and multi-location SEO.

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Roofing you own search for a book of roofing clients (roofing contractors operating across several markets): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for roofing or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
