  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including medical strategists, publication managers, analysts, consultants, and clients, to ensure scientific accuracy, strategic alignment, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, competitive intelligence assessments, and evidence analyses to support publication and scientific communication strategies.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with applicable industry standards and best practices, including ICMJE, GPP, CONSORT, and client-specific publication policies.
  • Contribute to publication planning and execution across the product lifecycle, supporting data dissemination strategies and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and scientific leadership to junior writers and Medical Affairs team members.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering responsive, "white glove" service and strategic recommendations that advance their medical affairs and publication objectives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical writing, publication planning, or medical communications experience, preferably within a medical communications agency, consulting firm, CRO, or pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more therapeutic areas and the ability to rapidly develop knowledge in new scientific domains.
  • Excellent scientific writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a proven record of publication development.
  • Experience with reference management software (e.g., EndNote) and publication management systems.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
  • Thorough understanding of publication ethics, authorship guidelines, and industry compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality, strategic scientific communications.
