Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

This position’s purpose is to engage with and advise clients on Dayforce Workforce Management and import/export functionality. This will entail the development of business processes and the subsequent implementation of these solutions. This position is for Canadian-based consultants ONLY.
Responsibilities
- Training and certification (as directed by Practice Lead) within Dayforce in the areas of Core Human Resources and Workforce Management.
- Interest and ability to cross-train in other areas of Dayforce (e.g., Technical, DCC, Payroll, G/L, Benefits, Talent, etc.).
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements of clients, including attendance at required meetings.
- Develop and document solutions based on best practices with a focus on Dayforce delivered technology
- Configure the functional solution in Dayforce (including WFM schemas, Pay policies, entitlement policies, rules, features, functions, operations, and tables).
- Develop testing strategies and perform all levels of testing, including Day-in-the-Life testing, User Acceptance testing, parallel runs, and mock cutovers.
- Document configuration settings and design decisions to support knowledge transfer and ongoing system support.
- Make recommendations for best practices and business functions and processes to function correctly after these changes.
- Provide status reports and project feedback to Project Management.
- Train client power-users and end-users in the newly implemented solutions & processes.
- Assist with the cut-over and go-live of the project.
- Assist client power-users and end-users with system support and training needs after go-live.
- Support post-go-live activities and resolve defects/issues with Payroll.
- Knowledge sharing with other Magnisol consultants
- Effective risk and quality control within the area of responsibility
- Ongoing self-development to stay up to date with the latest technology, business trends, and developments.
- Develop functional specifications and interact with the Technical Team to ensure custom objects are developed and function according to their approved specifications (e.g., G/L export)
- Report gathering and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent business experience plus 3 years of experience in Dayforce-related positions, including experience with Dayforce’s Core and WFM functional component(s).
- In place of a bachelor's degree, any combination of education and/or experience evaluated as the equivalent to a bachelor's degree will be accepted;
- Understanding of proprietary methodologies (HCM SaaS-based systems) and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Familiar with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to travel on request.
