Job summary

Ethos in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Senior Welder for 1st shift to weld large and small weldments. The role includes laying out parts, fabricating as needed, reading prints, and passing a weld test to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.

Applicants should have 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment, be proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, and squares, and be able to operate overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld drawings.
• Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, tape, squares).
• Willingness to perform fabrication and layout as required to meet specs.
• Ability to pass a weld test and work to blueprint requirements.

The Senior Welder will be responsible for weldinglarge and small weldments.

Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed, read prints, and pass a weld test.

Produce all parts as per blueprint requirements in a timely manner to meet production schedule.

Position Responsibilities:

• 2+ years of experience in welding in a Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to utilize various measurement tools, including but not limited to square, angle square, calipers, and tape measure.
• Use of wrenches, air tools, handheld grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling, and frequent lifting required.
• -2+ years of experience of Welding and Fabrication experience.
• -Manufacturing industry experience.
