Job summary

Robinhood's Reference Data team, within the Trade Data organization, is building the source of truth for assets across equities, options, crypto and more. As a Senior Software Developer, you will build scalable backend systems and APIs used by millions of customers, balancing performance with reliability.

You will mentor junior developers, lead cross-team initiatives, and collaborate with frontend, data, and vendor groups to enable new features and product expansions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver long-term impact on systems or team-wide architecture.
• Strong judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and mentor peers.
• 3+ years designing and building large-scale, distributed, low-latency systems.

• The Reference Data team, part of the broader Trade Data organization within the Brokerage Platform at Robinhood, serves as the source of truth for diverse asset classes—including equities, options, crypto, event contracts, and tokenized stocks
• Our core systems, Quiver and Arsenal, interface with external providers such as Bloomberg, Alpaca, Kalshi, and ForecastX to ensure consistent symbology across all internal platforms
• As a Senior Software Developer on this high-impact team, you’ll collaborate across engineering, business, operations, and vendor channels to support critical infrastructure
