Job summary

The Klick Group, a life sciences-focused agency with offices worldwide, is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join the Full Stack + AI team in Canada. You will build production web experiences for life sciences brands, integrating AI-native development practices, and guiding technical delivery across projects.

You will mentor developers, uphold accessibility and security standards, and collaborate with Technical Directors and cross-functional teams on architecture decisions and client delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent as part of regular software delivery.
• Experience building production features integrating with an LLM API with observable responsibility for implementation, testing, security, or ongoing maintenance.
• Experience delivering accessible, secure, and performant web applications using WCAG 2.2 AA practices, OWASP-aligned controls, Core Web Vitals optimization, automated testing, Git workflows, CI/CD, and deployment/rollback processes.
• Experience leading technical delivery through estimation, architecture decisions, code review, risk management, and mentoring, with examples of communicating trade-offs to engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with using AI regularly to improve work processes.
• Experience with frameworks such as Next.js, Gatsby, or Astro and CMS platforms like Contentful, AEM, or Drupal in production web delivery.
• Experience implementing analytics with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and structured data layers.
• Experience deploying web apps using AWS, Azure, or GCP, serverless, Docker, or similar cloud/container tech.
• Experience building internal AI tools or agents using an agent SDK, or delivering technology in regulated environments such as healthcare/pharma.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate agentic development workflows using tools like Claude Code/Cursor/Codex with task decomposition, reusable prompts, integrations, automated verification, and human review checkpoints.
• Own code quality across human- and AI-generated work with automated tests, type checks, linting, CI/CD gates, code reviews, and security practices.
• Build reliable integrations with headless/enterprise CMS platforms, APIs, analytics implementations, Google Tag Manager, and structured data layers while ensuring testability and data privacy.
• Lead technical estimation, documentation, risk identification, code review, and developer mentoring, communicating architecture decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
