Job summary

Mecka AI is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer in Toronto to build production web applications powering global operations. You will own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and integrations, delivering robust interfaces for international teams while leveraging AI tools to move faster.

You will collaborate with operators, data teams, and senior engineers to translate operational needs into reliable software, with emphasis on clean code, maintainability, and scalable design.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years professional experience building full-stack web apps in production.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs using Node.js and/or Python.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs.
• Active daily use of AI development tools to prototype and debug.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production web applications powering global operations.
• Design clean, intuitive interfaces for diverse teams and non-technical users.
• Develop backend services and APIs with Node.js and/or Python.
• Ensure data integrity, permissions handling, and reliable background workflows.
