Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Total Wealth Planner to proactively provide comprehensive financial planning advice to high net worth clients. This in-field expert will deliver end-to-end plans, present strategies, and identify opportunities to deepen client relationships within the Scotia Wealth Management framework.

The role requires university degree, IQPF, a life insurance license, and relevant certifications, with experience in Naviplan and complex planning.

Qualifications

• University degree
• IQPF designation (Quebec)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a high net worth financial planner
• Life Insurance license
• Canadian Securities Course
• Additional estate and/or tax courses

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end goals-based financial plans for high net worth clients.
• Prepare, analyze and review financial plans and executive summaries.
• Present financial plans and related strategies to clients.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and drive results.
• Provide ongoing professional financial planning advice on complex strategies.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure integrated planning.
