Job Description:

Parsons has an opening for a Senior Wayfinding and Signage Specialist within our Rail and Transit division. This role involves managing and developing sign programs for Signage and Wayfinding projects, working under minimal supervision. You will utilize current design technology and software to prepare proposals, reports, technical papers, specifications, and Sign Manuals.

The ideal candidate can handle complex signage design assignments and manage signage programs for large-scale transportation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct signage and wayfinding tasks, developing standards and programs for transportation projects.
• Collaborate with the signage team and discipline members to provide accurate, clear, and consistent project-specific signage solutions.
• Oversee the production of signage and wayfinding programs from concept to fabrication and contract administration, including updating standards and technical specifications.
• Assist in training new employees and reviewing work.
• Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media (or equivalent) preferred; typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in design software such as CAD, REVIT, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Advanced graphic design skills and knowledge of signage production techniques and fabrication processes.
• Ability to handle detailed, varied design assignments and meet schedules.
