Job summary

GFT leads the Water team in Mississauga, Ottawa or Toronto, ON, with a hybrid work model that requires regular attendance in the Toronto office. The Senior Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager will plan, design and construct municipal and industrial water facilities, mentor staff, and drive business development to grow backlog and project revenue.

With a focus on quality, schedule and budget, the role supports client satisfaction and regulatory compliance across diverse water and wastewater

Qualifications

• 15+ years of water/wastewater design experience.
• P.Eng license required.
• Experience in leading medium to large projects.
• Business development experience a plus.
• Mentoring junior staff and strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater projects.
• Engage with clients, present findings, coordinate project activities.
• Coordinate work of staff and consultants, track schedules and budgets.
• Interface with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee construction contract management and reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional growth.
