Abilities & Skills
- Expertise in Full-cycle video production—from ideation and filming to editing and delivery of polished and visually captivating final products
- Expertise in operating and utilizing advanced videography equipment and professional product tools (i.e. camera, lighting, microphones, lenses, filters, etc) to capture high-quality footage
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, pacing, and storytelling
- Experience managing and coordinating production logistics, including equipment setup
- Fully proficient using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects DaVinci Resolve, etc
- Ability to contribute to creative ideation sessions, with a knack for tailoring content to specific audiences (luxury, non-profit, health, etc.)
- Client-facing experience, ability to communicate professionally, manage client relations, ease on-set anxieties, etc
- Has a diverse portfolio showcasing diverse video projects, demonstrating versatility and creativity in various styles and genres
Experience
- Around 7+ years in videography and video editing (flexible if you’re exceptional)
- Experience producing content across formats—commercial, internal, corporate, social
- Comfortable interacting with clients (always with a team lead present)
- Experience working independently or within a small, nimble team
About the Role
You’ll lead video production for a wide variety of projects—ranging from corporate interviews and internal storytelling content to corporate campaigns and non-profit features. You’ll have support from experts across your team, but this role is hands-on and requires full ownership of your work.
Video Content Creation:
- Plan and execute high-quality video projects across various industries and formats
- Repurpose existing assets into compelling video content with voiceovers
- Collaborate with team leads on concept and delivery
Video Editing:
- Fully proficient using video editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects and the full Adobe Suite of programs, DaVinci Resolve, etc
- Edit full pieces yourself, and incorporate work from the intermediate editor as needed
- Ensure the final product aligns with the client’s brand and goals
- Ability to produce branded content and contribute to content strategies for Web, Social, traditional media and other common distribution channels
Shoot Coordination & Video Production:
- Act as your own producer for most shoots: handling setup and working with clients in the studio
- Manage all technical aspects of shoots: cameras, lighting, set design, etc.
- Collaborate with clients on-site in a professional and approachable manner
Tech Development & Maintenance:
- Recommend and evaluate equipment upgrades or changes
- Maintain your gear and ensure top-tier production quality
