Twin Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Vendor Management & Asset Consultant for a long-term, on-site engagement in Calgary. You will lead vendor negotiations, telecom rationalization, and IT asset management to drive cost savings, reduce risk, and bring structure to the vendor ecosystem.

The role requires 7+ years in IT vendor management, proven experience with software/telecom vendors, and strong negotiation and governance skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or sourcing, with direct negotiation experience against major software/telecom vendors.
• Proven track record managing multi-vendor software portfolios and driving consolidation initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise telecom/mobility contracts and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with IT asset management tools and practices (e.g., ServiceNow, ITAM platforms).
• Strong negotiation, contract review, and vendor relationship management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience building or maturing a vendor governance framework is an asset.

Responsibilities

On behalf of our client, Twin Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Vendor Management & Asset Consultant for a long-term engagement, based on-site with our client in Calgary. This role will lead vendor negotiation, telecom rationalization, and IT asset management efforts to drive cost savings, reduce risk, and bring structure to the organization's vendor ecosystem.

Key Objectives:

• Software Vendor Management & Negotiation – Own the full vendor relationship lifecycle: evaluate the existing software vendor portfolio, identify redundancies and consolidation opportunities, lead contract renewal and pricing negotiations, and manage vendor onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding. Build strong commercial relationships with strategic partners to secure favorable enterprise terms.
• Telecom & Mobility Management – Manage the organization's telecom and mobility vendor relationships end to end: audit current services and spend, identify unused or underutilized services, consolidate carriers/plans where possible, and negotiate improved rates and terms. Own the ongoing governance of telecom spend to prevent waste and surprise renewals.
• IT Asset Management – Establish and maintain an accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle management program, from procurement through disposal. Track asset utilization, manage lifecycle refresh planning, and ensure the organization has clear visibility into what it owns, what it's using, and what it's paying for.
