About the role
Our growing team is looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher!
What you'll do here:
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with product, design, and data teams (web analytics, business intelligence, and market research) to: 1/identify information gaps, 2/create and manage your roadmap, and more generally 3/ensure that the entire design and development process is user oriented.
Conduct user research: Plan, design, and execute user research studies to gather deep insights into users' needs, behaviors, and motivations.
Analyze and synthesize data: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data collected during research and synthesize the results to make excellent strategic recommendations that consider technological constraints.
Write reports and presentations: Communicate research findings clearly and concisely through detailed reports and presentations to influence decision-making and guide design strategies.
Ensure technological and methodological watch: Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and tools in user research and user experience (UX).
Mentor: Mentor potential junior researchers by sharing your knowledge and fostering the development of skills necessary to conduct effective research.
Promote a culture of excellence and user experience (UX): Raise awareness and promote the importance of user research and user experience (UX) within the company by operationalizing all methods included in the team's service offering.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in user research.
Mastery of user research methods (qualitative and quantitative): Usability testing, semi-structured interviews, comparative studies, card sorting (open and closed), longitudinal studies (e.g., diary studies), surveys, focus groups, and co-creation workshops.
Experience in managing suppliers (recruitment firms).
Industry knowledge (asset).
Proficiency with research tools such as usertesting.com, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Dovetail, etc. (asset).
Mastery of statistical methods (asset).
Rigor, aiming for excellence to enable our digital products to outperform.
Business performance-oriented: tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing market trends, etc.
Strategic thinking in terms of user experience and business.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to present results at an executive level.
Team spirit, ease of collaboration, openness to feedback.
Proactive attitude, able to work autonomously and handle ambiguity.
Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
