• Holds or is working towards industry designation (FLMI, FALU).

Job description

• Perform underwriting and risk assessment for multiple lines of business
• Maintain a high level of communication contact and support with management
• Accountable for thorough communication and / or explanation of all underwriting decisions
• Ensure PartnerRes competitiveness with peers in industry while ensuring compliance with established protocols and control standards
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement and development of underwriting guidelines policies and procedures
• Ensure departmental compliance with established quality and service level agreements
• Participation on internal and external audits as required

Qualifications and Experience Required :

• Post-secondary education preferably in math science or business
• Holds an industry designation or is working towards its completion (for example FLMI FALU)
• 10 years practical experience working in progressive underwriting roles
• French is an asset
