Job summary

Northbridge Insurance seeks a Senior Underwriter, Manufacturing (Endorsements and Renewals) to underwrite commercial manufacturing risks and manage endorsements and renewals for mid-market clients.

You will collaborate with broker partners, mentor junior underwriters, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders to ensure accurate risk assessment and sound decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience in Manufacturing.
• Completed, or pursuing CIP designation (an asset).
• Strong customer service background.
• Team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite manufacturing risks and endorse/renew policies for mid-market clients.
• Collaborate with brokers to assess risk and provide underwriting solutions.
• Coach and mentor less experienced underwriters.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support growth and development within the underwriting team.

Our Senior Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.
