CHES Special Risk Inc. is seeking an experienced underwriter to join our Property & Casualty and Medical Malpractice teams in a hybrid Toronto setting.
Key responsibilities include underwriting new business, renewals, and building broker relationships to drive profitable growth. The role requires 4–5 years of commercial underwriting experience, industry designations or in-progress credentials, and a track record in sales and portfolio management.

Location: Toronto - 19-130 King St W, Toronto ON M5X2A2 - Hybrid Setting - 2 Days in office

Wage Transparency: The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
We are looking to recruit a Team player to join our growing Team and Professional lines/Medical Malpractice Book, your key responsibilities will be to assist in the underwriting and develop business with our Binder markets and new and existing Retail Brokers.
