Job summary

G Mining Services is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer, Underground Mine, to lead design and evaluation across local and international underground projects. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, select equipment, and develop cost estimates and economic evaluations, while guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of mining engineering experience.
• French and/or English communication; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
• Deswik and Ventsim proficiency is a significant asset.
• Microsoft Office, especially Power BI, a plus.
• Experience in consulting and/or international projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design technical plans and drawings per project specs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to meet schedules and budgets.
• Select equipment for mining projects under consideration.
• Prepare NI 43-101 technical reports for studies.
• Oversee study activities and manage resources and reviews.
• Contribute to data collection for project progression to construction/production.
• Develop cost estimates and economic evaluations.
• Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
