A prestigious and growing mid-market private equity firm with a global footprint is looking to add a Senior Treasury Analyst to its Toronto-based Finance Operations team. The Role :

Reporting to the Finance leadership team, the Senior Treasury Analyst will play a key role in day-to-day cash management, liquidity planning, treasury reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role that will involve working across internal stakeholders and contributing to the firm’s broader finance and risk management goals.

Key responsibilities include :

• Monitoring daily cash positions and ensuring sufficient liquidity across entities.
• Preparing wire payments and intercompany transfers using banking platforms, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder approvals.
• Reviewing bank reconciliations, addressing discrepancies, and coordinating adjustments with the broader finance team.
• Preparing cash position summaries and forecast reports for senior management.
• Supporting month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles, including treasury-related journal entries and financial postings.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements, including automation opportunities and best practice enhancements.
• Maintaining up-to-date treasury policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with risk management frameworks.
• Participating in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

The Ideal Candidate will have :

• 3–5 years of experience in treasury operations or a related financial role, ideally within financial services or investment management.
• A university degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Working towards or completion of a CPA, CFA, or CTP designation (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with complex models and reports.
• Experience with treasury management systems and / or financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, self-directed approach with strong organizational and communication skills.
• A collaborative and flexible mindset, with the desire to contribute to a high-performing team.
