Job Description
The Senior Treasury Analyst focuses on the Company’s cash and liquidity management; as well as improves banking efficiency and provides support with the forecasting and planning process. This role requires a dynamic, energetic, initiative-taking individual with a variety of skills, demonstrates business acumen and judgment, and possesses the potential to take on larger project management responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee long-term and short-term forecast of global cash position and tracking of cash investment activities for corporate entities and various business segments.
Prepare treasury reports for senior executive team providing an overview of cash and debt balances for the company’s U.S. and Canadian operations.
Manage credit facility activities for corporate entities.
Manage letters of credit activities for corporate entities and various business segments.
Responsible for quarterly debt covenant and compliance reporting.
Develop and maintain positive relationships and consistent communication with banking partners and internal colleagues.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement and automation of the budgeting and planning process, leveraging available technology to improve outcomes.
Assist with the contribution and distribution process across various business segments.
Assist with treasury operations such as updating Know Your Customer documents, and managing the banking portals.
Assist with capital planning and budgeting process.
Assist with ad-hoc projects related to corporate finance as required.
Qualifications:
Experience in cash management, cash forecasting, and treasury management systems.
Astute analytical abilities and critical thinking, with a solid foundation in corporate finance, financial and investment terminology.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills with an in-depth understanding of complex finance and accounting concepts, as well as experience with other Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, or Power BI is an asset.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Highly effective written and oral communication skills with a direct, professional, and confident communication style.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to further strategic objectives.
Strong organizational skills, with ability to set priorities and work with tight deadlines while displaying keen attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related degree with excellent academic performance, or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in roles with direct exposure to corporate treasury functions.
CPA, CFA, or CTP designation.
Experience working with treasury management systems like Kyriba or GTreasury.
