Job description

Cardinal Health, with over 1300 employees in Canada, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a Sr. Coordinator to join our Dorval location. The Sr. Coordinator is part of the Dorval Operations Control Center (OCC) team and will work with our Operations department to meet requests and shipping needs from our internal and external customers.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 6:30pm – 100% on site

Your Contributions to the Organization will include:

• Managing order flow into priority sequence for Operations processing
• Assigning orders to appropriate carriers based on needs
• Building delivery routes for Private Fleet operations
• Communicating with internal & external stakeholders
• Modifying routes and expediting urgent shipping requests
• Managing transportation-related customer service requests
• Monitoring shipment tracking, including producing bills of lading, parcel tracking, and proof of delivery
• Overseeing various OCC team responsibilities as required

This Job might be for you if:

• You enjoy working in a team environment and are customer service-oriented with great communication skills
• You have 2 years of experience in transportation and shipping
• You are bilingual (English and French)
• You possess knowledge of law 430 for heavy vehicles
• You are open to new challenges, responsibilities, and enjoy learning new skills
• Knowledge of JDE, AIMS, and Tecsys is an asset
• You are proficient with computers: Office 365, Omni-tracs
• You have strong organizational and problem-solving skills and can reprioritize on short notice
• You are committed to working flexible hours as required
