Qualifications

• University or College degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, finance, analytics or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial acumen; capable of translating data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Loblaw order history, vendor freight rates, lanes, capacity and market rates for performance assessment.
• Prepare vendor freight rate packages and review existing rates for profitability alignment.
• Monitor the financial performance of vendor programs and identify rate and cost trends.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of paybacks, invoices, SAP deductions, and freight adjustments.
• Perform root-cause analysis to identify data, system, or operational factors.
• Reconcile vendor accounts with Vendors, Finance, AR, and Transportation to secure timely payments.
• Use BI tools to identify trends, investigate anomalies, and support decisions.
• Translate complex data into clear findings for Transportation and Finance partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics, and controls.
• Support vendor transitions to protect profitability and correct setup in systems.
