Job summary

[Client] in Greater Montreal seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead design, analysis and execution of high‑voltage projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results on time and within standards.

Responsibilities include design and analysis of lines, load studies, and supervision of plans, with mentoring for junior engineers and active client/regulatory engagement. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or equivalent.
• Professional licensure with OIQ is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in transmission line design.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze overhead and underground transmission lines (structures, conductors, foundations).
• Conduct mechanical and electrical load studies per CSA, IEEE, NESC standards.
• Supervise and review plans, specs and technical documents.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and environmental teams.
• Provide site supervision and technical support during construction.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers on the team.
• Participate in client and regulatory relations.

The Role

Our client, a recognized organization in the energy and electrical infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to strengthen its technical team. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, and execution of high-voltage transmission line projects, working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Profile

Desired
