West Fraser in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager, Total Rewards, to lead compensation governance, planning, and employee benefits across North America. You will partner with executives, drive change through acquisitions and integrations, and ensure compliant, data-driven total rewards programs while aligning with business strategy.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including leading geographically diverse teams.
• Experience developing and presenting HR strategies to senior executives with strong stakeholder management.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures with due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Total Rewards strategy across North America, including compensation governance and market pricing.
• Partner with executives to drive workforce planning and change management during acquisitions/integrations/divestitures.
• Provide Canadian benefits plan leadership, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Support immigration and mobility for Canada/US with strong vendor management.
• Develop and present HR plans and business cases to senior leaders with data-driven narratives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT, and Operations to improve HRIS/data quality and controls.
• Drive employee engagement, health and wellness initiatives to support performance.
• Provide HR leadership for integrations/separations, including Day 1 readiness and policy harmonization.
