Qualifications

The Opportunity

We aim to deliver a high-quality, reliable 24x7 Payment Acceptance Platform via a SaaS model. The Senior Tools Engineer is responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining the software engineering tools that support the platform and its systems. They collaborate closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to identify, implement, document, and sustain automated build, deployment, configuration, testing, and integration tools. The role involves working with a range of technologies, from mobile development (Android/iOS) to backend and frontend technologies like C# and Java. We are a fast-paced, dynamic company seeking new team members eager for a challenge.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Act as a key part of a multi-team effort to deliver, manage, and maintain automation tools such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing solutions, and deployment management.
  • Translate requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable automation systems for implementation by yourself and your peers.
  • Develop your skills as a technical mentor through peer reviews and collaborative engineering practices.
  • Coordinate with production operations teams for troubleshooting and system maintenance support.
  • Enhance platform quality and maintainability by scripting automation, managing tools, and ensuring solutions are repeatable, automated, and well-documented.

Who Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a software development-related field.
  • 8+ years in software development tools, deployment, or operations.
  • Passion for teamwork and mentorship, with excellent communication skills and a drive to learn new technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of build, deployment, and configuration pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Bamboo, Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Experience with software development practices and tools like GIT / Stash, and familiarity with build processes using Maven, Ant, Visual Studio/MSBuild, CMake, Android Studio, etc.
  • Ability to script in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle frameworks, including Scrum.
