Job summary

Wellington County is seeking a Tenant Services Housing Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of Housing Services and lead staff across property management, rent-geared-to-income calculations, and eviction prevention. The role focuses on delivering safe, affordable housing and strong tenant relations while ensuring compliance with housing legislation.

Reporting to the Director of Housing, you will coordinate with partners, monitor budgets and performance, and guide service delivery

Qualifications

• Four-year University Degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field.
• Property Management Professional Designation preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in social and affordable housing, human services, and government administration.
• Supervisor/management experience in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of Tenant Services delivered through Housing programmes.
• Manage staff and their work across property management, rent-geared-to-income calculations, annual reviews, eviction prevention strategies, and LTB matters.
• Develop and manage service delivery with internal and external partners.
• Ensure policies and procedures align with Housing Services Act and related directives.
• Guide personal safety policies and maintain positive tenant relations.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs, and reporting submissions.
