Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to lead telecom projects across critical infrastructure, delivering robust wired and wireless solutions. You will guide system architecture, interfaces with protection, SCADA/automation, cyber security, and engage directly with clients to define requirements and deliver reliable results.

The role is hybrid and based out of Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary or Edmonton, with growth opportunities in a multidisciplinary team focused on resilient, sustainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• P.Eng. in Canada or eligible for registration.
• 10+ years in telecommunications engineering with leadership of complex projects.
• Experience with networks for mission-critical applications and OSI Layers 1–4.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecommunications work packages, system architecture and detailed design for complex projects.
• Develop design criteria, schematics, interconnection diagrams and BOMs.
• Prepare technical specifications, design reports and testing procedures.
• Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines and engage with clients to define requirements.
