The Role

We are seeking a Senior Technology Leader with experience in IT operations and architecture to act as a trusted advisor to clients and the team. This role requires an experienced leader with hands-on experience in technology management, strategy, and solution delivery.

You will be responsible for guiding organizations through technology transformation, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions, and ensuring IT environments align with industry best practices and security standards. This role includes direct involvement in sales, pre-sales activities, and executive-level presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Strategy

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients, helping them navigate technology transformation and IT modernization.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity roadmaps, bridging the gap between current and target states.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, effective technology solutions.

Technical Leadership & Operations

• Design and implement IT strategies and security solutions that align with industry best practices (e.g., SOC2 Type 2, ISO27001).
• Understand software development best practices with modern architecture.
• Maintain a holistic view of clients’ technology landscapes, ensuring integrated and forward-thinking solutions.
• Oversee IT operations within regulated environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Sales & Business Development

• Actively participate in pre and sales discussions, helping to identify opportunities and shape technology strategies to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with the QuantumSmart team and executive leadership to drive business growth.
• Develop and deliver technical and business presentations to executive audiences, clients, and stakeholders.
• Work with Project Management best practices and enterprise rigor.
• Present complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Maintain a semi-active / active LinkedIn presence, engaging in industry discussions and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a senior IT leadership role (IT Manager level or higher).
• Proven experience in IT operations, cloud architecture, solution architecture, SDLC framework, and security frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical challenges into business value and drive executive decision-making.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working with CMMI or other IT maturity frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with both technology and security systems.
• Understanding of GDPR, PCI, and other compliance frameworks.
• Interest in technological innovation, such as AI, Quantum Computing, etc.
• Experience in highly regulated environments.
