The Senior Technician will execute experiments in the lab to formulate lipid nanoparticles, perform characterization assays, and support lab management activities. This role reports to the Sr Manager, Delivery, is part of the Vancouver-based R&D team, and is on-site.

What you'll do:

1. Formulate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulating nucleic acids for in-vitro and in-vivo testing, supporting manufacturing at various scales. Work independently after planning with the technical team.
2. Perform and troubleshoot assays such as DLS, zeta-potential, RiboGreenTM, TNS, and ELISA. Develop and execute protocols.
3. Analyze data, prepare reports, present findings, participate in troubleshooting and technical reviews, and plan activities with the team.

Who you are:

• BSc or technical diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing and characterizing LNP formulations and assays (DLS, zeta-potential, RiboGreenTM, PicoGreenTM, gel electrophoresis, ELISA).
• Proficiency in biological assays for lipid nanoparticle characterization.
• Independent, organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work well in a team.

The salary range is $70K-$90K CAD, with potential bonuses and benefits such as paid time off, insurance, and RPP. Compensation may vary based on experience and company discretion.
