Brown & Brown Canada is seeking an experienced underwriting leader to mentor the team, review referrals, and guide product development. You will collaborate with the CUO/VP of Underwriting and other senior stakeholders to optimize profitability and growth objectives.
The role emphasizes technical guidelines, market intelligence, and training for the New Business & Retention Team and broker partners, ensuring consistent, profitable underwriting decisions.

The role includes collaboration with Chief Underwriting Officer, VP of Underwriting, AVP of Underwriting Development, AVP of Technical Development and other key stakeholders to optimize profitability and support business growth objectives.
Level 1 - General Insurance license (or the ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame) CAIB, CIP, CRM, FCIP or working towards finalizing a designation is preferred 10+ Years Commercial Insurance Experience with willingness to further develop Underwriting Analysis & Products skillset.
Pay Range 90000 - 130000. Annual Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. Package may include base pay, commissions, and/or bonuses.
