Miovision in Kitchener, Ontario, is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager - Product Development to drive end-to-end delivery of flagship hardware-software-intelligence products. Position Summary:

As our Sr. Technical Program Manager - Product Development, you will sit in the driver's seat of our product delivery programs. You are the central traffic controller who leads the cross functional execution of product intent into shipped outcomes. Working closely with hardware, software, operations, and go-to-market teams, you will map out the optimal route for new product introductions: establishing the plan, driving alignment, surfacing tradeoffs, managing dependencies, and holding the organization accountable to scope, schedule, technical readiness, and launch quality. If you excel at transforming potential roadblocks into smooth, predictable execution without losing speed, this is your green light to lead.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Hardware, you will operate as the technical program integrator across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Quality, and other key partners. On many programs, you will work alongside a second Technical Program Manager (TPgM) focused on detailed hardware execution. In that model, you would own the integrated product plan and cross-functional delivery system, while partnering closely with the hardware TPgM to keep hardware execution, software delivery, system integration, operational readiness, and go-to-market planning aligned. The Sr. Technical Program Manager does not replace functional technical leaders, but must understand the system deeply enough to connect decisions across disciplines, expose hidden dependencies early, and drive the right conversations at the right time.

Location: This is a flexible hybrid role based out of our HQ in Kitchener Ontario.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Direct Flagship Delivery: Lead 1–3 concurrent complex product programs across hardware, firmware, cloud software, and operations to turn strategic vision into fully validated, commercially ready products.
• Build Integrated Master Plans: Connect architecture, validation, release, and launch milestones into a single clear execution roadmap to maintain absolute visibility over critical paths and key dependencies.
• Unify Cross-Functional Teams: Serve as the connective tissue between Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Go-To-Market teams to keep all domain execution plans aligned.
• Drive Risk & Tradeoff Mitigation: Identify system-level interdependencies and navigate tradeoffs between scope, cost, and schedule to resolve bottlenecks before they disrupt launch timelines.
• Enforce Launch & Phase Readiness: Establish evidence-based entry/exit criteria for pilot builds and commercial releases to ensure flawless quality upon market release.
• Optimize Program Governance: Elevate program management tools, decision logs, and cadence frameworks to increase predictability and accountability across the entire organization.

Ideal Profile:

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven experience leading complex, end-to-end product programs spanning hardware, firmware, software, and operational launch.
• Systems Thinking & Technical Depth: Strong ability to evaluate how hardware, firmware, cloud, and operational decisions interact across the entire product ecosystem.
• Integrated Product Delivery: Deep knowledge of hardware/software lifecycles, cross-domain integration, system validation, and commercial launch readiness.
• Program Governance: Expertise in building and driving integrated master schedules, dependency maps, risk mitigation strategies, and executive-level reporting.
• Technical Credibility: Skilled at engaging with technical leads, constructively challenging incomplete plans, and surfacing hidden risks or assumptions early.
• Cross-Domain Collaboration: Experience partnering with engineering, product, operations, and quality teams to align roadmaps and shared deliverables.
• Go-To-Market Execution: Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical, operational, and commercial workstreams through launch and initial customer adoption.
• Leadership & Ambiguity: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving clarity, consensus, and accountability in dynamic environments.

Additional Assets:

• Experience delivering connected devices or other products where hardware, firmware, cloud, and application releases must come together for a successful launch.
• New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing ramp, regulatory compliance, and post‑launch operational handoffs.
• Background in a related industry such as transportation technology, IoT, edge systems, intelligent infrastructure, or similarly complex product environments.
