Overall Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure of SAP systems and will work closely with SAP Business and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SAP environment. The candidate should have a strong technical background with experience in SAP Basis administration as well as AWS and must possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

Technology

  • Ensure overall stability, availability, functionality and reliability of Jamieson SAP computing systems, AWS environment, services and applications, including users, roles and authorizations. Knowledge of SAP best practices including segregation of duties and SAP transport management systems.
  • Additionally, support the client computing infrastructure, provide user support, resolve IT incidents, fulfill service requests and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high quality, professional, service levels.
  • Upgrade and continuously evolve Jamieson technology infrastructure through individual knowledge of emerging technologies.

Customer Service

  • Engage as needed, any business related projects, initiatives or support consultations
  • Ensure a robust understanding of organization business initiatives and provide appropriate support, consultation and guidance in regards to technology
  • Act as ambassador for IT department and as an advocate for technology in general
  • Prioritize, balance, multi task competing issues with deference to urgency, length of outstanding time and political sensitivity

Governance

  • Ensure appropriate levels of security, availability and redundancy for entire technology infrastructure
  • Maintain, follow and enhance as necessary, any appropriate SOPs for IT department
  • Support and enforce any IT related Policies including those required for ISO27001.
  • Working in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure
  • Comply with all associated GMP Practices

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • Seven (7) years in IT
  • Five (5) years supporting AWS Cloud
  • Three (3) years specifically supporting SAP environments
  • Three (3) years in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Hardware Support
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent computer and technical knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve under pressure
  • There is a rotational, on call-component to this position.
