Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Canada is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee technology procurement and lead a Procurement Specialist. The role involves negotiating vendor contracts, optimizing SaaS and cloud portfolios, and driving category strategies. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce. Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement with technology category depth (SaaS, cloud, OEM/resell, hardware) and experience leading or managing others.
• Strong negotiator with contract literacy (MSAs, DPAs, SOWs) and experience in cybersecurity/data protection.
• Proven SaaS renewal management and license optimization experience.
• Proficiency with NetSuite (ERP/procure-to-pay), Salesforce, and Agiloft.
• Data-driven, organized, and able to influence cross-functionally; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field; CPSM/MCIPS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technology procurement across all spend areas.
• Drive savings, negotiate advantageous terms, optimize our SaaS and cloud portfolios.
• Build and execute category strategies that reduce total cost of ownership.
• Negotiate, review, and administer vendor contracts to secure advantageous pricing.
• Manage a Procurement Specialist and partner with various teams.
• Create and analyze procurement dashboards in NetSuite and Excel/BI.
