Base pay range:

CA$85,000.00 / yr - CA$100,000.00 / yr

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Tax Accountant to join their organization. This is a Direct Hire role.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting tax partners through the identification of tax planning opportunities and strategies in the firm’s varied client base.
• Preparation of step planning memorandums and technical reports for clients and partners alike.
• Assisting with performing the review of personal and corporate tax returns and tax projects.

Qualifications:

• University Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years' experience specializing in tax in public accounting (able to do tax and accounting).
• Extensive knowledge of personal, corporate, partnership and trust tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of Caseware and TaxPrep is required.
• Previous experience in corporate reorganizations, estate planning and various filings of tax elections (Section 85, CDA, etc.) is desirable.
