GFT is seeking a Senior Safety Engineer to lead safety assurance activities for major rail transit projects in Canada. The role requires deep expertise in safety engineering, RAM, and regulatory compliance, with strong leadership and client-facing capabilities. You will coordinate hazard analyses, safety cases, and RAMS activities across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering/Science and a P.Eng. designation is highly desirable.

Under limited supervision, the Senior Safety Engineer independently leads safety assurance and safety certification activities for major rail transit projects. The individual serves as a technical authority on safety matters and provides leadership in hazard management, safety engineering, safety assurance, and regulatory compliance activities.
The Senior Safety Engineer should possess strong knowledge of safety engineering methodologies and a working understanding of RAM principles sufficient to coordinate integrated RAMS activities and interface effectively with RAM specialists.
The salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $163,000.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
