The Sr Systems Development Consultant formulates and modifies procedures to solve complex problems, proposes and designs systems and solutions to address business needs, and liaises with other technical/functional areas to ensure guidelines are adhered to within development projects. As a senior in the Systems Development job stream, the Sr Systems Development Consultant provides system development expertise, technical leadership, and consulting to project teams across multiple phases of systems development and technology, offering advanced guidance to less experienced IT staff.

Technologies you have experience with :

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in .Net Framework (C#, .Net 8). Knowledge of Python and SQL is an asset.
• IDE: Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
• Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows Server.
• Database: SQL Server and database design.
• Web Technologies: WCF, RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, XML.
• Cloud Computing: Azure Cloud (asset).
• CI / CD & DevOps: Github, Github Actions, Shift-left DevOps, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Identity Provider: Okta, Azure AD, Federation, OAuth flows.

• Perform technical analysis and formulate design and solutions for complex systems or integrations, verifying across multiple hardware platforms and development environments.

• Ensure design considerations include environment, strategy, business needs, user demand, integration, and financial implications, with feasible, maintainable, scalable components.
• Evaluate software packages, prepare proposals, and recommend system architecture changes.

• Lead the delivery of large-scale solutions, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation for both business and technical audiences.
• Participate in defining work structures, milestones, and estimates.
