Canadian Natural in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Systems Analyst to support our Upgrading and Utilities Information Systems team. You will design components and data structures based on business needs and contribute to stewardship of applications and databases.

This role requires 8+ years of experience in systems analysis and development, Oracle/SQL Server expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot and guide developers. Travel to field sites in northern Alberta may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined Systems Analyst and development work experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer sciences.
• Strong background supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle from design to testing.
• Configure in-house and vendor applications to meet customer needs.
• Own and implement best practices for applications and integrations.
• Develop effort estimates for new designs or modifications.
• Troubleshoot and guide developers on application issues.
• Maintain maintenance procedures and monitor system health.
• Occasional travel to field sites in northern Alberta.
