Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Markham, Ontario, seeks a System Administrator to maintain servers, cloud infra, and directory services. You will install hardware and software, manage virtualization, and ensure IT environment stability.

The role requires strong Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, GPO, and M365 knowledge, Azure experience, and documented IT processes. Hybrid work, collaboration, and security expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or system administration.
• 5+ years of relevant system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, Entra ID/AAD, Group Policy, and M365.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Entra ID/AAD, and Group Policy with optimal performance and security.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
• Work with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V) ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, systems configurations, and network layouts.
• Provide Azure support for Azure VMs, Azure Backup, Azure Files, Azure Monitor, and Azure DNS.
• Utilize NinjaRMM and ticketing systems to monitor and resolve IT issues.
• Participate in IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Manage backup solutions and test data restoration regularly.
• Provide staff training on new technologies and IT solutions.
• Ensure IT security standards and best practices are followed.
