Job summary
GlassHouse Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead hands-on infrastructure operations for internal IT and Managed Services clients. The role requires serving as the primary escalation point for complex incidents, mentoring teammates, and shaping technical standards across on‑premises, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud platforms.
The position is hybrid, with three days per week commuting to the Toronto office.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive infrastructure administration experience in enterprise IT or Managed Services.
- Strong admin experience across Windows Server and Linux, including hybrid cloud.
- Experience with patching, compliance, and lifecycle management using enterprise tools.
- Vast experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, backup, and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure for internal IT and Managed Services clients.
- Ensure infrastructure availability, security, and performance with proactive monitoring and capacity management.
- Lead OS upgrades, patches, maintenance releases, and lifecycle activities.
