Job summary

Challenger Geomatics Ltd. is hiring a Senior Survey Technologist in Edmonton, AB, to join our team on a hybrid remote/office schedule for several multi-year projects. You will process field data, interpret engineering plans, and ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

The role requires proficiency with Civil 3D, Leica software, and Excel, plus experience in data quality control and client reporting. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and engage with clients as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing survey calculations using Civil 3D.
• Experience interpreting field returns and processing data.
• Understanding Construction IFC and engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and quality control field data for survey projects.
• Input data into Civil 3D and Excel databases and generate plans.
• Create 3D surfaces and compute volumes for project deliverables.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate with project manager.
• Ensure deliverables meet professional standards and regulatory requirements.
