Job summary

Chandos in Calgary, Canada, is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead large commercial construction projects from excavation through turnover. You will lead site operations, coordinate trades, manage schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade certification or equivalent construction experience.
• 10+ years of commercial/institutional construction experience with a large general contractor.
• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a large general contractor.
• Experience delivering complex commercial construction projects from excavation through turnover.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site operations.
• Advanced leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Forecasting experience.
• CSTS 20

Job Description

You know how to build more than just a schedule. You build teams, solve problems, and keep projects moving when everyone else is looking for answers.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead large commercial construction projects from excavation through turnover. You'll lead site operations, coordinate trades, manage schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure every project is delivered safely and successfully.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Journeyperson trade certification or equivalent construction experience
• 10+ years of commercial/institutional construction experience with a large general contractor
• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a large general contractor
• Experience delivering complex commercial construction projects from excavation through turnover
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site operations
• Advanced leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Forecasting experience
• CSTS 20

Nice to have

• Gold Seal Certification
• Technical diploma in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Experience using Navisworks, Assemble, Revizto, or similar BIM tools
